This drawing is a part of a series that features aromatic smoke generated from native tree resin. Since ancient times, people have burned fragrant, organic materials, such as tree resin, to cultivate a calm state of mind and commemorate a new beginning. The video shows the actual smoke that I was using as inspiration for these compositions.
