Live Online Course: A Visual History of Companionship
The Art of Seeing: History & Practice
Join artist Anna Kaye for an inspiring online live class where you’ll dive deeper into your creative journey! Through engaging conversation and creative exercises, we’ll explore visuals and concepts found in iconic artworks throughout history. You’ll receive a technique demonstration and have the opportunity to share along the way. Once you purchase the class, you’ll receive an email with a Zoom link a few days before that month’s session.
On Saturday, September 26th from 12:30-2:30PM MDT we will explore A Visual History of Companionship. From ancient depictions of families and friendships to portraits of companions, pets, and communities, artists have long used visual imagery to explore the emotional bonds that help us feel connected, supported, and understood. Through conversation and art making, we will examine these meaningful relationships. Each participant will receive a free signed archival print of Anna’s artwork featured in the demo video, the subject will be inspired by birds!
